Northeast Indiana MDA – 14th Annual Auction
by Decor on May.12, 2009, under Events
The Northeast Indiana chapter of the Muscular Dystrophy Association is excited about our fourteenth annual gala auction. The auction is set for Saturday, May 16~ 2009 at Orchard Ridge Country Club. Last year’s auction raised over $60,000 to benefit children and adults served by MDA. We continue to serve over 550 client families and provide hope through research, thanks to success of ‘events such as this!
An individual ticket is $75 and a corporate table for 8 is $600. Over 77.4% of every dollar raised is used to fund our program services! The money that is raised enables us to host a week long summer camp for the children with muscular dystrophy, assist with the purchase of wheelchairs and leg braces, host a clinic every other week at the Lutheran Hospital, provide support groups for our clients and their families, and fund our life-saving mission of research.
Please consider joining with us in the Fight against Muscular Dystrophy. If you have any questions at all, please call the MDA office at 260-486-6698 or reach us by email at 363l.office@mdausa.org Their website is mda.org.
Nancy and I picked out a silent auction item from our store. We chose a sign, “I get a little help from my friends,” – John Lennon – it seemed appropriate for the event.

1st Dupont Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery table was #1 in the voting for the People’s Choice Award. It was a marvelous presentation by Dr. Shank’s group and was created by his assistant, Candy. The cowboy actually moved and talked. Definitely got my vote!
